Fleet Aeronautics was established in 2011 by Justin King to meet the growing need in the Australian airline industry for independent weight control consulting services. Since then, we have grown as a unique aerospace engineering consultancy company specialising in Flight Engineering Operations, servicing not only the airline industry, but also providing consultancy for general aviation. Our Team
As the principal engineer with 30 years experience in the Airline and Defence Aviation industries, Justin King leads a team of experienced and motivated engineers with backgrounds in Weight Control, Performance and Structural Engineering.

Our team of senior aerospace engineers have a collective background of more than 50 years’ combined experience in aircraft structural design, flight performance engineering and weight control engineering. With a proven track record of innovative and efficient solutions and ongoing partnerships with airline companies, Fleet Aeronautics is a leading expert in all aspects of flight engineering operations. Latest News
New Software Improves Flight Safety
Fleet Aeronautics is thrilled to announce the successful release of our latest software development project for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Building on our previous success with the Weight and Balance Tool for commercial aircraft, this project involved creating a bespoke application tailored to the complex requirements of the Air Force's fleet of P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
This achievement is the result of a highly collaborative effort between Fleet Aeronautics, P-8A operators, the U.S. Navy, the Surveillance and Response Group (SRSPO), and sustainment partners within Boeing Defence Australia and QinetiQ. We are honoured to have been awarded this contract and look forward to many future endeavours.
