Fleet Aeronautics and our team of senior engineers are leading experts in aircraft weight and balance. Our inventory of aircraft weighing scales consists of AN-60 and LPA-400 platform scales, and HH2400 load cell weighing systems for B737/A320 sized aircraft down to small aircraft.
Fleet Aeronautics has the capability to provide weigh services to the aviation industry for any sized aircraft, ranging from rotorcraft and small aircraft right up to B777s and above. Our weigh service also includes weigh co-ordination and documentation by a CASA approved Weight Control Authority.

Our Scales
AN60 - Information
Dependable: The AN60 scales have proven themselves
dependable time and time again over the past 20 years.
Lightweight: The AN60 weight is half that of comparable
scales. Two persons can easily carry and setup the
AN60 scales.
Large Capacity: The AN60 weighing systems have a
capacity of up to 60,000 pounds per platform.
Accuracy: These GEC weighing systems are remarkably
accurate - up to ±0.1% of the applied load (or 5 pounds)
with excellent repeatability.
Scale Levelling: No levelling or electronic devices needed to correct for uneven surfaces.
High Strength: GEC uses a special bonded aluminium honeycomb sandwich construction that is strong, light in weight and almost unaffected by weather. It has been tested to the most extreme conditions, having been used the world over by commercial airlines, governments, and the military.
Transportability: The AN60 can be moved very easily from site to site and aircraft to aircraft. The contract weighing department of GEC has been using the AN60 since 1990 and has shipped the scale to all parts of the world without the need for recalibration.
Exclusive "HAEL" Load Cell: Over the past 10 years the patented "HAEL" load cell has proven the most dependable load sensing design available. It is the heart of the AN60 weighing system.
Fully Self-Contained: No cables to get tangled up. No damage from falling off jacks. No hassle. Just move the aircraft onto the platforms and take accurate readings from the liquid crystal indicator.

Load Cells - Information

Light Weight: These wireless handheld Load cells are accurate, lightweight, and dependable.
Large Capacity: We have a number of load cells with different capacities ranging from 10,000 Ibs to 50,000 Ibs which makes them suitable for any sized aircraft or rotorcraft. ​​
Dependable: The compact handheld unit accurately displays each scale's weight reading.

Light Weight: The LPA400 is easy to move from one aircraft and one
location to another. Each platform is self contained and weighs only 30lbs (14kg).

Large Capacity: The platforms have a capacity of up to 45,000lbs
(20,400kgs) each.

Accuracy: These FAA approved GEC weighing systems are remarkably accurate
– up to ±0.1% of the applied load, with repeatability. Indicator that can interface with a laptop computer

No Ramps: At just a little over 1 inch high, the LPA400 does not require ramps and bridges and sets up very quickly in almost any location.
